VARANASI
I love the way you're adding info on all these countries of great places to visit! I was going to suggest adding Coonoor--Brooklands Guest House. I loved that place! Don't know if it's as great now as it was 15 years ago though.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your comment Shanti and your suggestion -- that is what I'm hoping will happen with this blog!
ReplyDeleteBrooklands is a good call -- such idyllic and beautiful settings for a guest house. I also last stayed there back in 1998 so I'm not sure what it's like these days but I'm sure it's the same!
Thanks again. :)
Food in Delhi:
DeleteButter Chicken at GULATIS on PANDARA ROAD! Freaking choice.
Cheaper version at:
Anands Restaurant behind Connaught Circle.
4S chinese in Defence Colony is worth it for pints and cheap greasy chinese food.
Also see you added Dolphin's Nose and Lamb's Rock--completely forgot about those places! Also really liked Avalanche--the lake, and surrounding area.
